Welcome to Wilder Center
The Charles T. Wilder Center is a modern event facility centrally located in the historic neighborhood of Wilder, Vermont. This picturesque landmark building has been restored and repositioned as the premier event facility for the Upper Valley of VT/NH. The Center is available for weddings, musical performances, private parties, classes, and events of all types.
Originally built in 1890 as The United Church of Christ in what was then Olcott, Vermont, it later became The First Congregational Church of Wilder, and then finally the Assembly of God, before church services at the building ceased in 2008.
In 2009, Lyme Properties of Hanover, NH purchased the property, and conducted a series of meetings with the neighborhood about the future use of the property. It was determined that it should become a mixed-use venue, bringing a variety of events to the Upper Valley community.
The building underwent a meticulous renovation in 2010, and was renamed the Charles T. Wilder Center, after the man for whom the town is named, and who commissioned the construction of the original church. Today, the Wilder Center is a state-of-the-art event facility complete with all the modern conveniences and technology necessary to support a variety of events.
Wilder Center is capable of hosting events from 10 to 125 people, with a maximum capacity of 205 people. The facility has been thoughtfully designed for flexible use and multiple configurations.
